The PRI Makers Network sponsors a PRI Activity Database of more than 1,400 fully searchable records of PRIs and other mission investments. The PRI Makers Network in partnership with the Foundation Center is updating transactions and soliciting new ones through the end of 2008. The expanded and refreshed database will:
- Continue to track the field’s growth;
- Measure the strategy’s effectiveness in a range of program areas; and
- Help funders identify deals
Current PRI Members follow the link to the PRI database. In addition, PRI Makers Network sponsors an informal Deals Clearinghouse in which investors can search for deals of interest by, minimum investment amount, total project amount, program areas, geography served, and other investors in the transaction.
Both the PRI Activity Database and the Deals Clearinghouse are searchable exclusively by PRI Makers Network members by signing in at www.PRIMakers.net. Non PRI Members can Become a Member or Contact the PRI Makers Network.
The Community Investment Database, of the Community Investing Center is a searchable database of more than 400 Community Investment Institutions (CIIs) that provide financial products and services to people and communities underserved by traditional markets. The database details among other factors:
- Organization Type (e.g. Bank, Bond fund, Housing Developer, Venture Capital Fund)
- Social Sector Impact (e.g. Housing, Microlending, Small Business, Community Facility)
- Investment Products (e.g. Bonds, CDs, Equity, Equity Equivalent, Mutual Fund)
The database is a partnership of the Social Investment Forum, the Calvert Foundation, and the CDFI Data Project.
