October 2008 - Guides to the Law of Mission Investing for U.S. Foundations - FSG Social Impact Advisors
Co-authors Mark Kramer and Anne Stetson of FSG Social Impact Advisors published two new research reports (October 2008), which were developed in consultation with nationally-recognized legal experts and senior foundation officers. These two reports (one a brief summary guide and the other a full and comprehensive research report) analyze the federal tax and state fiduciary laws as they apply to U.S. foundations. In addition to legal analysis, the reports provide practical recommendations as to how foundations can best navigate these laws in making mission-related or program-related investments.
